Folger founded Gossamer Crossing in 2008 to provide critical needs infrastructure development capabilities on the African Continent. Focused primarily on airfield development, medical delivery systems, communication infrastructure, water management and hybrid power systems. Gossamer Crossings tactical engineering approach has proven effective in Africa’s complex environments.
As Board Chairman, Folger directs the strategic direction of Gossamer Crossing in developing new markets, managing business relationships with senior Government officials and International Donor Community members.
He has led projects for PwC, GE Capital, Tullow Oil and Eni SpA and carried
out project risk assessments and reviews on railways, nuclear power stations
and major systems implementations. He was also part of the PwC global
performance improvement panel and is a Certified Company Director.
Iain is an experienced workshop facilitator, speaker and panel member. He is a Graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and has seen active service with the British Army. He holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen.

As Vice-Chairwoman, Business Development & Marketing Executive of Gossamer Crossing Global, Suzy is responsible for developing, leading and managing new-market entry strategies for the organization. She is responsible for bringing the company into new territories and markets so that they are able to scale and expand activities in the Aviation, Medical evacuation, Logistics, Communications and (critical emergency solutions) sectors of emerging and developing economies.
Suzanne has been involved in Humanitarian, infrastructural development & conservation projects in different countries across Africa emerging from conflicts and natural disasters. She specializes in using limited resources available in resource-strapped areas to facilitate solutions that can drive change in high-need, low-resource areas.
Today, Suzanne continues to lead the effort to bring specialized emergency medical services to the African Continent. Working with industry experts on Anti-Venom, Aviation-based evacuation and the International Medical community, she is developing critical healthcare solutions that will create a sustainable framework for standardized health services.
